‘Redemption’ is a sentimental new track from Paris-based Jack Grace. On the surface, we hear his simple vocal interacting with a beautifully nostalgic piano like a peaceful Bon Iver ballad. Beneath, gentle the rumble of juxtaposing quick drum loops and thick bass synths add a new dimension to the single. “I built the tune over a synth loop that sounded to me like highway noise,” Grace explains. “The story fell in and around that.
